Are E Cigarettes Safe

...  myth got started. Yes, using electronic cigarettes means you are ingesting propylene glycol, but you are also ingesting it when you use a medical inhaler or even mouthwash. The FDA has run studies that show that propylene glycol is also non cancer causing. The jury is still out on prop glycol in e cigarettes, but all signs seem to point to it being safe. And regardless of all that, there is no possible way it could cause as much horrible damage and death as tobacco.   BUT WHY AREN’T E CIGS ALLOWED TO BE SOLD AS “QUIT SMOKING” PRODUCTS?   Another big issue that causes people to ask “are e cigarettes safe?”, is the FDA’s ban on calling e cigarettes “nicotine cessation” devices. Other products like nicotine gum, transdermal patches and medication like Chantix are all officially classified as quit smoking products by the FDA, but electronic cigarettes are banned from that classification. Yes, these products have been around a little longer than e cigs, but it’s not like there are long term studies or intensive studies done on nicotine gum or patches either.   There are some conspiracy theories regarding the FDA’s unflinching opposition to e cigarettes, so we’ll go into them a little bit here. It is often thrown around that the FDA has a vested interest in both the giant pharmaceutical companies and big tobacco. By throwing the hammer down on e cigarettes, they ensure that both pharmaceutical quit smoking ...

Jumping the Broom should have been called Jumping the SmokeStik

It’s Saturday night and we are sitting in bed watching Jumping the Broom. (not by choice) As I sit here with my girlfriend, I cannot help but want to claw my eyes out and as she sits next to me grinning my mind only starts to wander as to how this movie could have been better. First of all rename Jumping the Broom to Jumping the SmokeStik. Second – replace all of the actors with Electronic Cigarettes. Third  – add some explosions. Fourth – Two words Megan Fox. Ok so here is the plot. An electric cigarette named Fred realizes that he isn’t as good as the other e-cigs in town when he falls in love for a lovely SmokeStik Halligan named Betty. When he accidentally walks into an old janitors apartment, he understand that in order to be the best electric cigarette ever he must become one of the Order of the Supreme SmokeStik. The Janitor reveals over a cup of special E Cigarette liquid that he once was part of the SmokeStik order, but had to leave due to a conf ...

America vs Canada

America vs Canada. It’s on. An epic battle to see which country is better. Ha! Did you really think we were gonna touch this subject? Nope. See, SmokeStik is the number one E-Cigarette brand in BOTH these countries and why would we want to go and mess that up by coming up with with reasons why which country is better? We wouldn’t. We can safely say though that both the US and Canada are better then the Isle of Man.  ...

Should SmokeStik buy Motorola?

Should SmokeStik buy Motorola? With all the talk about Google purchasing Motorola today, we started wondering what if a SmokeStik / Motorola merger would make sense. SmokeStik is the leading brand of Electronic Cigarettes while Motorola is the leading manufacturer of cell phones and cable boxes. In fact, while you may think that Motorola and SmokeStik have nothing in common, they share more than you think. See, Motorola reinvented the way people watch TV, in fact we would venture a guess that if you go take a look at your cable box right now, it says Motorola on the back. (unless you own a Tivo, then it would say Tivo). That is where SmokeStik comes in. SmokeStik is reinventing how people use electronic cigarettes. True, SmokeStik did not invent the Electric Cigarette, but just the like Motorola Razr phone, SmokeStik brand E-Cigs took Vaping and made it popular. That is where SmokeStik and Motorola part ways though, because while Motorola may have lost their coolness factor to the iPho ...

What is Menthol

After thousands of emails telling SmokeStik that people love our Menthol cartomizers, we received a question from someone last night asking us exactly what Menthol is. Well, after searching and searching, the answer is simple. We have no idea. You see, menthol apparently is created from the peppermint plant, that much we know. We also know that it has many many uses around the globe, however, the actual creation of Menthol is a mystery even to us. What is not a mystery though, is that people tend to like the SmokeStik brand Menthol E Cigarette Cartomizers over our competition. So, next time you are looking for a refreshing break from the same old same old, pop in a menthol cartomizer and bring on the fresh.  ...
